-
Anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout
-
Self-esteem and confidence concerns
-
Relationship stress
-
The lasting impact of trauma
My specialty is trauma therapy, with a focus on how past experiences can affect your present life. Whether you’re processing recent events or long-held wounds, I offer a safe, collaborative space for healing.
My Approach
I work from a humanistic, person-centred framework—meaning I see you as the expert in your own life, and healing unfolds through a respectful, genuine connection. You set the pace; I bring warmth, empathy, and non-judgment.
Therapeutic Modalities
Depending on your needs and preferences, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as:
-
Narrative Therapy – exploring and re-authoring the stories you hold about yourself
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – shifting patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviours
-
Somatic Approaches – connecting with your body and nervous system
-
Mindfulness – cultivating present-moment awareness and emotional regulation
-
Relational & Emotionally Focused – understanding how early relationships shape your current experiences

Trauma &
Trauma-Informed Therapy
What is trauma-informed therapy?
Trauma-informed therapy is grounded in safety, choice, and empowerment. It recognizes how trauma can affect the nervous system, relationships, identity, and sense of safety.
My role is to walk alongside you — never pushing — as we gently explore what feels manageable and meaningful to your healing process.
What is trauma?
Trauma refers to experiences that overwhelm your ability to cope and leave lasting impacts on your emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Trauma can come from obvious events like accidents, abuse, or violence, but it also includes less visible experiences such as emotional neglect, abandonment, or chronic stress.
These experiences can affect how you relate to yourself and others, your sense of safety, and your ability to regulate emotions. Trauma isn’t just about what happened to you—it’s also about how your nervous system and body hold those experiences over time.
